REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Take the Claymation Test on Skyward before you begin.
  2. Create a new page on your wiki and name it "iStopMotion".
  3. Create a one-minute video using your own clay models, iStopMotion, and iMovie.
  4. Use iStopMotion to create your video.
  5. Use the Design Cycle to create your claymation.
  6. Create the background and/or backdrop for your movie.
  7. Once the movie is created export it to iMovie.
  8. Add your own GarageBand or iMovie song/sound effects to your movie.
  9. You must have a title at the beginning and end of your movie. Titles do not count as part of your one minute.
  10. Create a DVD of your movie.
  11. Upload your movie onto your wikispace.

INVESTIGATE:
1. Take the test on Skyward.
2. How does the Design Cycle apply to the real world? it is used when doing almost everything that is creative, because in order to do good at anything creative at all you do those steps.
3. Answer the Design Brief questions below:

-How have I changed since I left elementary school? i have not understood the system aka grades
-Why is it important to look after myself and others? if i dont my life will fail
-How do my choices impact my life? they are my life
-How can my choices change the lives of others positively and negatively? they cant change what i do and i can do something to change them without them being able to do anything
-How can my choices change my life positively and negatively? matters what i choose to do will change my life
-What are the requirements for this assignment?

  • Why did you change your plan? It was pretty much the same as our storyboard...
  • Why did you change your story board? We didn't...
11. How could you improve your movie? We could have a little more time to add sound, and more colors of clay.
12. Does your movie meet all of the requirements? Yes
13. Share your movie with at least one friend. What did he/she like about your movie? He liked how the guy kept dying (This is Joseph we're talking about, keep in mind.)
14. Reflect on all the steps of the Design Cycle. What did you do well? What do you need to improve?

  • Plan: I was in Hawaii for this, too.
  • Create: We met all of the requirements, but we could have made slightly less violence (oh, well, he's just Play-Doh).
